Looking for high- quality pork fat for cooking baking, soap making, rendering your own lard, or even to mix in with game meat to make sausage?

We have plenty available from our recently harvested hogs who were fed a soy-free, non-GMO corn and grain mix.

✅Back Fat - $5/lb
✅Leaf Fat - $6/lb

Leaf fat is the premium fat found around the pig’s Kinsey’s. It produces the mildest lard that’s perfect for pie crusts, pastries, biscuits, and tortillas- it’s great for any sort of baking.

Back fat is from along the pig’s back. It makes excellent cooking lard and is awesome to mix into any meat when making sausage. It’s a time tested cooking fat that adds wonderful flavor to foods and is far less processed than many commercial cooking oils.

❗️A little LEGHORN FAQ and PSA to all Summer chick buyers—>

🐣Thinking about getting chicks soon? If you buy chicks now they WILL NOT LAY until winter and if the days are too short they may not lay at all until spring. You could be waiting 6-8 months before ever getting a single egg. Not to mention it’s a lot of work to raise those little ladies and potentially some boys too because it’s not a guarantee you’ll only get females.

🐓Buying pullets means you’ll get 5-6 month old laying hens and get eggs THIS summer, PLUS you know for sure you’re getting a hen!

🐓Leghorns🐓

Did you know that despite being some of the most prolific egg-layers available, Leghorns actually eat significantly less than their other flock mates.

🥚🥚They produce large to extra-large, white eggs and while most people think farm-fresh eggs are always brown eggs, we can assure you that we have eaten a range of colors, including brown, white green and blue eggs and don't notice a bit of difference in the taste.

🐛🌱Leghorns are fantastic foragers and love to scratch for bugs and greens (which also reduces feed costs). They are available in classic white and striking, colorful brown and truly look like your traditional barnyard chicken.

We have many pullets (young laying hen) still available, it's the perfect time to get yours.

Buy 5 hens and get a FREE ROOSTER- roosters can be great protectors for you flock and we have plenty to choose from!

Meet our 7 newest additions to the farm!!!

It’s not every day that I get brought a bucket of kittens in the office but it sure makes for an entertaining morning. These kittens will be ready for new homes in a few weeks. Let us know if you’re interested in a kitten or two!

Pastured Chicken Coming Soon…

We’ve been raising a batch of meat birds that will be ready for pick up on June 19th at our farm in Molalla or June 20th at the Canby Farmers Market.

The have been raised on a corn-free, soy-free feed and taste amazing. Give our chicken a try and you’ll never want grocery store chicken again!
