Muddy Boots Homestead

Muddy Boots Homestead Muddy Boots Homestead started in 2013 as a way for our children to understand where food comes from

Our family's dream was realized when we moved to Molalla in 2013 and started Muddy Boots Homestead. Currently on our farm we have dairy goats, kune kune pigs and laying hens. Seasonally we provide organic heirloom vegetable starts, fresh grown produce, meat chickens and other home made products. We spend time as a family learning about life and nature by caring for our animals, hiking in our woods

and observing what our wonderful God has created. Our best times are spent working together as a family building our home, improving our property and providing the best quality food for our family, friends and neighbors.

First night of kids being separated. They don’t seem to mind at all, it’s like a big slumber party!

I let all of the kids out of the barn today, it was complete chaos! And when I finally put them all back in I put 3 away with the wrong mamas and only figured it out a few hours later. So now they all have matching collars so I know who belongs together.

Buttercup did amazing! 2 bucklings and a doeling that all look like carbon copies.

We really needed a win and this morning we got one! Periwinkle gave birth unassisted to a bucking and a really cute doeling. Tim came home from work and saw them standing in the barn. We got them up to the birthing pen and settled and mom and Baird are doing great! And now I’m sitting with Buttercup as she just started pushing. With two more does that look equally ready to pop! Please pray for the rest of kidding season to positive for us. Pictures coming soon!
