I thoroughly enjoyed having Mr. Lee, Mrs. Cynthia, Hannah, Rylan, Addybug, and Skylar out at the farm Saturday. All the kids that come here are absolutely entranced when I process their fish that they've caught. I asked the very sweet Ms. Hannah to show me the one she caught, she was very proud as you can see. Ms. Addybug watched me skin/clean every single fish,she was so observant. And Mr. Skyler and Mr. Rylan came up and hung out with me for a bit. The boys also hold the record for asking me the most questions anybody has ever asked me in one sitting before, they were awesome. 😎

This is Mr. Chantley Powell, the record holder for the largest catfish caught at my farm since I've been open. I said it weighed 12 pounds, Chantley said 20. He worked hard to get this fish, even diving into the pond to grab her. After inspecting the fish Chantley and I agreed to release her back into the big pond for brooding (she's full of eggs). Everyone meet Mr. Chantley Powell and his 20 pound catfish!!!

I've also included photos from the first two weeks that he and his family visited the farm.

Military Veteran & First Responders Discount

IceMan 🧊 ❄️ 🐾 and I usually make our rounds connecting with our customers to get to know them and develop relationships. Today I was speaking to one of my customers and found out that he was a Military Veteran. I told him "Well Sir that is good for you today" he asked me how so? I told him that it is often advertised that I provide discounts for Military Veterans and First Responders. I told him that once a month their admission fee for fishing was waived. He asked me why I did that and I told him that it is my belief (with a profession like that) if I can provide a place to unwind & relax, if even for once a month, that I could help them in some way. This is what I can personally contribute in appreciation for your service. I found out that his two friends were also Military Veterans. I am so very proud to get to meet the families of such outstanding gentlemen and build that connection.
