We always look forward to ghost pipe season, these ghostly looking plants are fascinating little anomalies.

Ghost pipe / Monotropa uniflora:

☑️ often mistaken for a mushroom
☑️ looks like a single white flower with no leaves
☑️ grows via an underground network (like mycelium)
☑️ lacks chlorophyll
☑️ grows in very specific conditions (often near pines and russula fungi, likes heavy moisture)
☑️ one of the best natural remedies for anxiety, insomnia, and nerve-related conditions
☑️ not commonly seen

Sir Rupert. No one eats unless he eats first. Loves belly rubs. A patient dad (for the most part). The biggest and most intimidating due to his tusks, yet the most docile pig we have. We love Rupertino!
