It's a new week!

After nearly 11 inches of rain last week and a set of weaned calves getting out while we were at state fair and making their way into the barn for the night before making their way to more feed outside we have quite the messes to clean up this week! When we leave for a few days you can guarantee chaos will ensue. At least our basement is dry🙏

I've never been more excited to not be at a fair or ballpark on a random Thursday night. This is our ball field for the next 2.5 weeks.

Came home from a weekend of shows, jumped in the pool and now big sis is prepping little sister for her first livestock judging contest tomorrow. It's going better than expected♡

We had 3 goals for the breeding business going into 2026

--retain a large project that was transferring ownership

--obtain a research farm project that we had been pursuing

--gain 3 entirely new projects from a new operation/family

ALL GOALS HAVE BEEN MET 🔥

The days are long and our own to do list is begging us to stay home, but we are so grateful for the trust and relationships we have grown over the years. There is still time to order semen or plan a breeding project with Schleich Cattle.
