2 of our fav funky custom color palette bucket orders from last year! While our installation calendar for this year is mostly full, we sling DIY floral buckets every week, all season long, pick up at our studio in Monroe. We ask for a 1-2 week lead time on these so we can ensure any color palette requests. Great for events (not just weddings) that you want to be full of blooms!

The fields are open! Feverfew, lisis and snapdragons all went into happy soil this past week. Dahlias, amaranth, marigolds, and celoisa are all getting planted next week as the soil warms up and it loooooks like we are frost free (🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼). This is about 2 weeks ahead of our weather from last year and I’ll take it!

As events start up and the spring fields are prepped for planting, I’m feeling incredibly grateful for the hands and hearts that have gotten Dandy Ram to this stage and the guidance in making some key decisions for life sustainability❤️❤️❤️! Real talk- last year was a difficult one in balancing a scaling business, many floral installations, poor health, loss and grief, and my off farm job. This left me needing to make a big change in this biz for it to be sustainable with me in it. Moving forward we will have more separation between the farm side and design side of things starting with dedicated staff for each. This means I will be more focused on studio time and client support, be able to take some days off (!!), and hopefully have more capacity for everything life throws our way outside of the bagels and blooms hustling! Sending love out there to all the business owners and creators continually trying to find balance in it all.

With our first wedding happening this weekend the benches are cleaned, snippers sharpened, sink hooked up, wholesale orders in, and walk in on! We can’t wait to floral over 25 events this year, bringing sustainably grown blooms from our fields and beyond to your celebrations.

I’m excited to share that has joined Dandy Ram this year as our field manager! Matt brings years of Maine vegetable farmworker experience and we are lucky to have him being the main eyes on the field flowers this season. You can also follow him at where he grows Japanese American veg for delish ferments on the collective plot here at Dandy Ram.

3 years ago around this time we launched our first round of plant dyed, silk screened bandanas to help us fund our farm’s community irrigation pond after being denied a loan. A few rounds later, these are one of our fav things we make ship around the country to you! And nowwww it’s time for a new color wave! Out with the old, in with the new! This is our last call on our bandana sale to make way for some new hot colors dropping early this summer. Organic cotton, locally plant dyed, and silkscreened in our studio by these lil gay hands. Thanks for your support of this project through the years!
