Good evening everybody! 🔥
We were open yesterday from 11 AM–9 PM, but it was so hot and we were slammed, so we didn’t even get a chance to make a post! 😂🔥

We’ll also be open Friday & Saturday from 11 AM–10 PM. These are our regular hours going forward:
So hours every week are as posted:
📅 Wednesday–Thursday: 11 AM–9 PM
📅 Friday–Saturday: 11 AM–10 PM

We also have the FULL MENU today! And when we say full menu here at FiveStar, we mean ALL of our meats and ALL of our sides! 🔥

Since we have some new supporters after recent events just a quick reminder for all that are new:

-Grandma Sophie’s Greens 🥬 are currently Friday & Saturday, and we’re working on getting them available Thursday as well.
-Rib tips 🍖 are typically Friday & Saturday.
-Peach Cobbler 🥧 usually 2pm for availability

We’ve been updating our permanent menus that better explain everything and make it easier to know what’s available each day. We’ll continue making small updates as needed. So until the menu officially says Thursday, please consider them a Friday & Saturday item. (Right now doesn’t say any days we are fixing been making small changes all week)

The Chow Down Effect is REAL! 😂🔥
We’ll be back Wednesday-Saturday, fully prepared and ready to serve you all week long! 🔥

We were so ready and OVERSTOCKED for the weekend… and then BOOM! 💥 Y’all came through and showed us once again just how incredible your support is. It’s truly amazing what Chow Down Detroit does for the food industry. 🤎

🚨With that said, YES, we did sell out‼️🙌🏽 Unfortunately, that means we will NOT be open today. But before anybody jumps on here saying, “Y’all always sell out!” 😂 JUST KNOW WE CAN HANDLE THIS VOLUME! We’re adjusting and preparing for what you guys have showed us every week now it’s just getting even bigger. No we don’t have a commercial smoker in the back kitchen where we can just press a button and come in next mornin and it’s done. This is true homemade BBQ that takes real wood, real time, & real patience. ❤️

We really appreciate everyone who made the drive out last evening, especially those who came from a distance and weren’t able to get what they came for. 🙏🏽🤎 We truly don’t take that for granted. & we’ll be sure to accommodate and take care of you.

I wish there were better words to say then a simple “we appreciate you” because it just doesn’t do it justice how much it means to our family. It’s more than just selling plates of food. We aim to make each plate feel so comforting it’s like you’re coming to our home to share a meal with us in the backyard BBQ’n because that’s where all this stems from. Family, Love, & good food. Thank you so much Chow Down Detroit for the awesome video. And also a special shout out and thanks to one of the best bakeries in town Icing Bakehouse their a beautiful family that deserves every blessing coming their way. Very humbling!
