Claude (male) and Esmerelda (female) are a proven mated pair. They are 4 years old, grew up together, and last year Claude sat on their nest for the first time. He was unsuccessful hatching, but we hatched out 7 of their eggs in the incubator. Claude was young and inexperienced, plus our other male adult kept harassing him. I have full confidence in his ability to hatch this coming breeding season. This other male adult is the reason these two are going. We had to choose between them to prevent fighting. Claude isn't the problem in this case!
They are both friendly and have been around kids and dogs. They live with our llamas. They come up to eat out of your hand and let you pet them while they eat.
