Have to meet with an insurance adjuster today about the roof. After the storms last month our contractor found bubbling under the rubber which means there is moisture under it. Cross your fingers and hopefully we get a new roof out of it.

Here's a sneak preview of "The Beast". This is our signature burger. It is a 1/2 # of fresh brisket blend burger with 2 slices of smoked Brisket, 2 slices of bacon, crunchy onions and BBQ sauce on a Brioche bun. The total weight is right a 1 pound, and it will also come with coleslaw on the side. Bring your appetite.

Somethings are happening. The walls are finally painted the thew correct color, just waiting on the trim to be completed. It was nice to see the plumbers working on a Saturday getting the bathroom finished and all the other sinks put in.

UPDATE: Most of the brewing area has been painted, all the brewing equipment is in FINAL resting place, just waiting on all the trades folks to come run all the line and the I'll have it inspected and the brewing commences. Also, 3 of the 5 tankless hot water heaters have been installed.

I'm out of commission for the nest 6-8 weeks or so with knee replacement, so a HUGE thank you goes out to my Wife Lisa, Mike Winkelman and Rob Horn for moving the equipment, it was a pain in the keister, but they got it done.

The way all the equipment is set-up, we have more room than anticipated, which is a God sent.

I know it's been a while since I have given an update.

Things are moving slowly right now. We are waiting on the Health Department to figure out why we need 5 tankless hot water heaters. Once we get an answer from them, we can go ahead and get the installed and get all the plumbing lines ran.

The tap equipment will be installed early next week.

The Bar is looking good, it just needs sanded down, stained, sealed and attached.

We have a bathroom door!!!

All the trim in the building should be completed this upcoming week and then the rest of the painting can be completed.

If anyone is interested, we will be at the building this Friday at 7:00pm for quick walk-through tours

I hope everyone fared better than us with the storm. We were on the way to the building for the sale and a tree fell on my wife's car while driving. We're ok but here Explorer is totaled.

With nearly a week without power, painting has finally begun. This is just the primer base. The rest should be done tomorrow.

Good morning everyone. We met with the MLCC (Michigan Liquor Control Commission) and they requested they we cancel the sticker sale for this evening. I have had some of you request some of our merchandise, so we will still be there selling the T-shirts, hoodies (noy like you need one now), stickers, koozies, and glassware. If you would like to take a tour of the building, we can do that as well.

Just a reminder, the "Sticker Sale" is this Friday at 7:00pm. There are 6 varieties to pick from. Grab some for Independence Day, and as always stay safe.

We would like to tell all the father's out there a Happy Father's Day and we hope you all enjoy your day.
