Starting Sept. 1st, the first wave of imported beef will hit American markets (approx. 100,000 metric tons). Each month for the next 90 days, 100,000 metric tons will be released into the beef supply in a misguided attempt to adjust the current beef pricing market.
🤔Just a little food for thought:
300,000 metric tons is equivalent to approximately 661.4 million lbs. of imported beef from unknown origins.
