No we did not get back into Nubians but we visited Big K Farms frequently and took photos yesterday.
If your looking for a breeding buck or wether she's got something for you. A few doe kids too.

We all make changes for our children and one of the hardest one for me was to disperse my Nubian herd.
I am grateful that Judi from Big "K" Farms was able to give me the peace of mind that they will always be taken care of.
The final members of the herd left Saturday.

A special thank you to all my customers who have purchased from us over the past 12 years.
If you want to follow the Lamancha Herd and recorded grades my daughter will be tickled with some additional followers at Emnic dairy goats.

How can you get out of Nubians when your friends have a buckling that is beyond adorable.
We only have two breeding does for a year or so and we will see where life takes us.
This guy is from our breedings on the sire side with a touch on the dam.

Big K Farms has an abundance of nice bucklings many from my best does she purchased last season as well as her own lovely string of girls.
If you want long ears and spots from some pretty mommas she has several to choose from.

Judi from Big 'K' Farms welcomed triplett does from one of our bucks.
Judi purchased the Majority of my Nubian herd so if your looking for some nice pure bred kids she will have plenty to choose from.
We will have Nubian/ lamancha cross kids and pb Lamancha. Next season we should have some PB nubians again.

This kid reminds me so much of her great grand dam cherrys mother, SG Pleasant places Cherry Cuddler its hard not to go kidnap her :)

We are excited to announce that we have put a deposit down on a Luck Star buckling out of Accolade or Emmaray. We are ecstatic to have 3 well bred bucks to start the foundation to our herd.

This is for anyone interested in our property,
Because most homes for sale ads dont include what us goat folks want to hear and would freak out unsuspecting buyers of the non goat life variety.

We have maintained a cl,cae free herd our entire 12 years of having goats. We also have managed parasites by culling any poor doing goats and using limited dewormings.
Our place has 2 goat shelters and a kid shelter and pen with 3 different lots. 1 has grass the other 2 lots have limited to none but we prefer non grazing management.
There are many good hay suppliers and two good local feed mills and several feed stores and one bulk shavings business.
We have 2 vets in one practice who are easy to work with practical vets who know goats well and of course UGA is close by.
There is roughly 1.5 acres that could still be fenced that is wooded.
My milkroom is very basic and would make a great hay or tool storage shed.

Property also includes a workshop that is very well built.
