𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙛𝙚𝙬 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧! Friday hit 100° with a heat index of 110°, so the cows waited until later in the day to get a bite to eat once things cooled off a bit. Safe to say, I think we’re all ready for cooler weather!

We wrapped up our family adventure out West with the Cheyenne Frontier Days and an unforgettable Zach Top concert! It was the perfect ending to a trip full of memories we’ll cherish forever.

𝙄𝙩’𝙨 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙥 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙒𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙤𝙣𝙚…not only will we be headed home with a future son-in-law, but also an incredible new addition to our herd!

We’re beyond excited to have purchased 𝙇𝙤𝙩 #𝟭𝟯𝟯, 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙥𝙛𝙡𝙪𝙜 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝟰𝟭𝟱𝟮, in partnership with Whispering Winds Farm and 𝗠&𝗠 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝘀. We couldn’t be happier to bring this outstanding female home and are excited about what she will add to the future of our program.

A huge thank you to Andy and the entire Stellpflug Cattle Company crew for their outstanding hospitality, an unreal sale, and, most importantly, their friendship. The experience was truly well worth the trip, and we’re grateful to have been a part of such a first-class event.

Now it’s time to get her home and see what the future holds!

One of the highlights of our trip out west was celebrating a moment we’ll never forget…our oldest daughter, Piper, said “yes” Thursday evening at Hidden Falls!

We were so grateful to have our entire family together for this special occasion, in such a beautiful place. Dalton, we’re excited to welcome you to the family and can’t wait to make many more memories together on future cow sale family vacations.

We’re enjoying our trip out west as we make our way to Wyoming for the Stellpflug Cattle Company Annual Production Sale later this week! We’ve been soaking up some family time along the way…exploring Cheyenne, taking in the breathtaking views at Rocky Mountain National Park, horseback riding, and making memories together.

We also want to give a big shoutout to Riley Green for taking the time to meet us and snap a picture. We really appreciate it.

We are looking forward to a great sale later this week!

Not sure if is still a thing…but good cattle never go out of style 👀

Back in February, we welcomed this Churchill Cattle Company sire to P & J Farms. Looking back, that was one heck of a good decision.

Today, we are awaiting a set of Spring calves sired by Inferno. We bred several donors and all of our first calf heifers to him + are expecting a set of ET calves!

𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙩𝙝 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨!

After spending the spring expanding our herd, it was time to find some additional ground. We’re thankful to have added this beautiful farm and officially moved some of the cattle over this week.

The barn is still a work in progress, but the cows are already enjoying their new home. We’re looking forward to getting everything wrapped up and sharing more soon!
