Meet the flock: Alexander!
Alex is a Silver Appleyard, and one of the senior drakes in the flock. His exceptional, chill temperament has granted him permanent residence - we'd like him to pass on his sweet personality to as many ducklings as possible!
Alexander is currently in "eclipse" plumage. In spring, his head is vibrant iridescent green, but in fall and winter he molts into something a little harder for predators to spot.

Last guaranteed day for produce this season! The last harvest bounty of cucumbers, tomatoes, summer squash, garlic, apples, pumpkins, and more are all ready at the farmstand.

Eggs, soaps, and home goods will still be here next week! The ducks are loving this foggy morning and cranking out the eggs, so no worries about running out of the best eggs for baking anytime soon. 😁❤️
