And just like that… that’s it. 🥹🌸 Our first season at Petal & Pine is officially over. A few months ago this was literally just a field. We had an idea, planted a ridiculous amount of flowers and basically said okay… hopefully people come. And you guys CAME. You brought your kids, your friends, your moms, your dogs, your dates. You picked flowers, hung out with the animals, supported our vendors and somehow shoved an absolutely concerning amount of flowers into those buckets. Some of you came once and some of you came back so many times we started recognizing you. I don’t think people always realize how much that means to a small business. Every person through the gate, every shared post, tag, review, coffee, bucket of flowers… it all matters. There isn’t some giant company behind Petal & Pine. It’s just us figuring s**t out as we go and hoping you guys like what we’re building. Our first season definitely wasn’t perfect. We learned A LOT. We survived the heat, smoke, the rain, a literal flood, and plenty of what the hell are we doing moments. But somewhere along the way, this crazy idea actually became a place people wanted to come to.
And that’s the part that gets me. 🥹 There are already about 700 things I want to do differently next year, but for tonight I’m just trying to appreciate what we actually did. We started with dirt, and Tonight we closed the gates after thousands of you came to see what we grew. Like… what??? 🥹 Thank you for showing up. Thank you for coming back. Thank you for telling your friends and supporting this little business while we figured out year one.
Our little flower farm made it through its first season. 🌸
Thank you, thank you, thank you. See you next summer. 🤍
