The Flavor Profiler My name is Jennifer, AKA The Flavor Profiler. I am just a middle-aged lady trying to get her sh*t together.

I am also a writer, a degreed nutritionist, a health coach, a wife and a mom. My intention is to provide education with humor and empathy, and to demystify the concept of wellness by sharing my experiences around mental health, self-care, and cultivating healthy habits. Well folks, the day has come. Less than a year after writing this piece, I’m staring down the barrel of my first piano recital in over 30 years. Had to give this a re-read to get myself pumped, and reframe nervousness into excitement. I’m playing solo (eek!) and doing a trio with my daughter and my piano teacher. Today I’m putting another checkmark next to an item on the old bucket list. This one’s for you, mommy. 💜

So, I did a thing. I signed up for piano lessons. At FIFTY. I’m not a first-timer, but it’s been a minute.
