Week 3. Day 1. 7 new campers and 13 campers that have been before. Have a lot of girl power this week 💝 Didn’t have any sass though so that was nice 👍 Have a couple young ones but this is a good group that loves the animals. So that’s what we did today. We spent a lot of time meeting animals and James from H2Greaux Farms brought us more lettuce 🥬 for the animals. The Campers enjoyed feeding them. We spent time playing Connect 4 and Jenga by the fans when it got hot and we were waiting for others to change for the pool. We had a great time at the pool. Please bring goggles 🥽 for the pool! We do not have extras. See you tomorrow 💚

Week 2. Day 5. The last day. Camper of the Day was Grace. Who we loving call Gracie Lou Who! We got our tie dye shirts back. The campers always do such an amazing job on them. Today we spent most of the morning with the animals. We gave them water and topped up their food. We gave all the animals some nice hydroponic lettuce from H2Greaux Farms 🥬 Thanks, James! We did some chalk art. Love leaving positive messages everywhere! Went for a quick swim then back to get ready for our families to give tours. We had a rough first day (so hot 🥵) but the rest of the week has been really lovely. Thank you for sharing your sweet kiddos with us and we hope to see you all back on the farm again real soon 💚

Another beautiful day. We started with the hay ride. We collected feathers 🪶 pet the donkeys 🫏 took group pictures by the horse 🐎 and of course, we went to the bone yard 🦴 IYKYK
We came came back in time to wash up for lunch then we changed for the pool. After our swim we came back and fed some animals, collected eggs and played some games! Whew 😅 I’m tired just typing this 🤣💬
See you tomorrow. Remember family farm tours start at 3:30 tomorrow. I can’t believe it’s the last day!!!

Week 2. Day 3. Camper of the Day was Bonnie! We’re over the hump. Today was beautiful. There was a nice breeze. It was 83 at pick up. Now that’s what I’m talking about!! I love the structured stuff we do but I really love to allow for “free time”. Kids have the most amazing imaginations and we love to encourage nature based play. I love how these boys built a castle mixing Jenga with sticks and pinecones. Of course it’s not all play. Having animals is work and we did lots of clean up and we hung some new fly strips. Then it’s time for the pool 🏊‍♂️ Everyone loves pool time!! After we had popsicles and then some played ball in the pasture and some played with goats 🐐 Tomorrow morning is the hayride!! Please try to get campers here by 9:30. We like to go right after camp circle! Thank you 😊

Week 2. Day 2. Camper of the day was Coen!Tuesdays are for tie-dying T-shirts! The weather today was great 👍 We fed , did our chores, collected eggs, played games, went for a swim, had a blast with some sidewalk chalk and so much more! The campers are in the groove now and we had a lot of FUN 🤩 Good group and looking forward to tomorrow 🥰

Week 2. Day 1. A new group of campers and another great group! Today was hot 🥵 and humid but it’s supposed to be the hottest day this week and the kids were troopers. Most of this group are repeaters so they’ve been before but we had a couple new ones. Most of them just love it here but one of them I’m a little worried about. Not sure farm life is for him. But hopefully he’ll stick with it. I think he’d be fine if animals didn’t go to the bathroom 🤣🤣Bless it. He was precious and loved the pool and playing with the others. 🥰 I think it’s important for kids to get outside and I applaud these parents for encouraging their child to do something outside his comfort zone. It makes me want to make it more fun for him! I do not know how to make 💩 less gross 🤢 though 😜
Even though it was hot we managed to get everything fed, hayed and watered! Raked hay and collected eggs 🥚 Great team work 💚🎉
I’d also like to mention that I told this group several times that I was impressed with their manners so Well Done 👍 Parents 👏👏
Tomorrow, please bring goggles 🥽 for the pool if you have them and I am also needing Walmart/Target/plastic bags if anyone has any they can donate to the farm. We go through a lot for camp and I am in very low supply. See you tomorrow 🫶
