🦃 Thanksgiving Turkey FAQ

**How do I reserve a turkey?**
A $25 deposit holds your spot. Reserve at franksfamilyfarms.com, inbox us here on Facebook, or pay by Venmo.

**How much will it cost?**
Turkeys are $7/lb by final weight — you pay the balance at pickup.

**What size should I get?**
A good rule of thumb is about 1–1.5 lbs per person. Our birds vary (they're real farm turkeys!), so message us your guest count and we'll help you pick the right size.

**When are they processed?**
October 28 — so deposits must be in by then.

**When and where do I pick up?**
At our farm, during the first week of November. We'll confirm your pickup slot after processing.

**Fresh or frozen?**
Sold frozen — flash-frozen right after processing, so it keeps perfectly for Thanksgiving (and months beyond).

**How do I thaw it?**
Keep it in your freezer until you're ready. Thaw in the refrigerator — allow about 24 hours for every 4–5 lbs — and never thaw on the counter. A big bird may need 4–5 days in the fridge, so plan ahead!
