It is part of a broader revitalization project in Monson by the Libra Foundation. The Monson General Store was built as a market similar to the one at the Pineland Farms complex in New Gloucester. It, as much as possible, features foods grown locally in ad

dition to Pineland Farms and local artisan products. Our DELI offers delicious freshly made items

Looking for your next adventure? Whether you’re from the area or headed on a day trip for the long weekend, the creative town of Monson has an extraordinary, landmark exhibition at the Monson Arts Gallery.

Graven Images features the vivid and powerful work of Maine author and artist Michael Rothschild. This historic event marks his first public show in the United States, showcasing 40 years of drawings, etchings, and sculptures carved from wood, bone, and Monson’s famous black slate.

Meet the Artist and wine tasting.
Please join us Sept 4th 4-6 PM at the Monson Gallery Store as we feature Wayne Finkle. When Wayne was younger, he watched The Joy of Painting, and it sparked an interest in him to try it himself. Over the years, he kept painting and kept getting better and better!
He moved to Maine twenty years ago and fell in love with the beauty Maine has to offer. He tries to capture that beauty in his paintings. He most often uses acrylics and enjoys painting landscapes near his home in Milo and coastal scenes.
For our wine tasting this month, we will be featuring Wines from Corvezzo We will be tasting Pinot Grigio and Prosecco Doc Rose.
With the Pinot Grigio Expect flavors of peaches, floral notes, and hints of tropical fruits. The acidity is nicely balanced, and there’s a touch of minerality on the finish.
The Prosecco Doc Rose offers a delightful blend of berries and cream flavors, with an 88/100 rating from 5 critic reviews. Certifications: These wines are both organic and vegan certified.
