Happy weekend! We are open Friday-Sunday, 10am-dusk.

The stand is stocked with lemon blueberry cookies. I swear these are the best kind of cookies I’ve ever baked for the farm stand. They’re so addicting!🍋🫐

We also have:
* chocolate chip cookies
* Candied pecans
* Sweet & Salty peanuts (they remind of a PayDay)

Just waiting on my chickens to be nice to me and lay a few more eggs so I have a full carton. 😅

If you’re heading to Winston tonight for the races, don’t forget to stop by and grab yourself a treat!☺️

We’re making a change to our farm stand hours!
Effective today- McKinley Acres will be open:

🌾Friday-Sunday
🕚10am-dusk

This new schedule will help us keep the stand better stocked for the weekend and give us more time to plan, bake and create everything.

I don’t even have any health conditions but the air feels pretty heavy when I stop outside. That being said, we are closed today 7/16. Hopefully it clears up by tomorrow!

🌾 Wednesday, July 8 🌾

Good afternoon! The farm stand is open today with a couple of new changes.

What’s new:
🥜Peanut butter cookies
🍫🔥S’mores muddy buddies
📓Guided grief journals (created and self published by me)
📚The way I display my bookmarks (before they were in a wire basket, now they’re in a cute shadow box with a uv blocking film to protect them from the sun). Just a heads up, the shadow box isn’t nailed to anything so take care when opening it.🙂

I’m working on creating an online menu and rotating products so stay tuned!☺️

After going back and forth this morning, I decided that I need a day off from the farm stand.

Between the horrific thing that happened at EF yesterday and something else that’s personal and family related (but happier news), I can’t think about anything else. Emotions are high and my mind, body and soul could use a solid day of r&r. It’s way too close to my home.

I don’t feel like sharing all my thoughts and opinions on it, but it’s very sad and even though it doesn’t directly affect me, it hurts my heart more than anything. If you know what I went through then you’ll completely understand. I’m definitely praying for the worker who found the poor baby and everyone else who is hurting from the news.

If you were planning on stopping at my farm stand today on the way home from EF, I’m sorry 😞. I definitely appreciate all the wonderful people who visited this past week. I hope everyone has safe travels home.

🌾 Thursday, June 25 🌾

Happy first official day of Electric Forest! There sure has been a ton of commotion right by our stand and home since Winston Speedway is the will call center. Someone shouted across the road as I was stocking this morning and asked if I sold ci******es at my farm stand.😅 Sorry to say I don’t, but the stand is stocked with some new goodies today!

Chocolate Peanut Granola, and some handcrafted items are the newbies today. My sister in law and I made some branch and bead mobiles last night and my husband made a couple Native American Chokers. I also made a batch of lotion bars and dinosaur molds were the only molds I had so…dinosaur lotion bars it is!😅🦖

We really don’t mind the crowd. It’s honestly usually boring around here and I really appreciate everyone who stops at my little farm stand on the way to will call. Thank you all so much! Have a great time at the Forest!❤️✌️

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! Whether you’re a local or you’re in the area for Electric Forest, we have some fresh baked goodies and treats for you!

All the cookies are fresh baked this morning since I sold out yesterday! I also added candied pecans to the menu yesterday and noticed someone grabbed a couple of those too.☺️

Thank you to everyone who stops at my stand, it always makes my day and I truly appreciate it. 🫶

🌾Thursday, June 18🌾

The weather hasn’t been weathering the way I like it to. Don’t mind me if you find me outside in my thick sweater.😅

Two new kinds of cookies out at the stand today: strawberries & cream (made with freeze dried strawberries and white chocolate chips) and good ol’ chocolate chip.🍓🍪

All the regular things are also out today, but soon I am pulling my jar mixes and replacing them with other snacks & treats so stay tuned!☺️
