After finishing the school year and getting their 3rd steer settled in, Jourdyn and Riley took a few vacation days. First they went deep sea fishing at South Padre Island with their Dad, Captain Tony Martinez and Riley got her first catch of the day. Then off to San Antonio to Six Flags. Very well deserved; they all work so hard and needed a short break. Glory to God.

Thank you everyone for your support. We are learning everyday on this journey.

We have an advisor who guides us to selecting structurally sound steers. We also discuss a budget because they can range from 2k to well over 10k very easily.

We also need to select a steer that will be finishing between 1000lb - 1500lb for our local county show in March of the following year.

And then there were 3. Goose has joined Maverick and Henry at the barn. The girls are excited to start bathing him and welcome him to his new home as they continue building their barn a little bit at a time.

The girls are getting Maverick and Henry out for a nice stroll on a cloudy day. They work with their steers every day, sun up and sundown. Hard work pays off.
