Please take a moment to stop and remember one of the heartbeats of this establishment. Big R- Randy has moved onto a better healthier life. For all that know this camping community know that Big R was a staple of many communities! The first camper that welcomed my family into the community with open arms. Gods speed Big R!!

Yesterday, Rivers Bend experienced a devastating fire that destroyed our bar and restaurant. While the loss of the building is heartbreaking, we are incredibly grateful that no one was injured.

We want to express our sincere appreciation to the firefighters, EMS personnel, law enforcement officers, and all mutual aid departments who responded so quickly and worked tirelessly to contain the fire and protect the surrounding property. Their professionalism and dedication are deeply appreciated.

At this time, our focus is on supporting our staff and the Rivers Bend community as we begin the recovery process. We are cooperating fully with the appropriate authorities as they investigate the cause of the fire.

The outpouring of support from our community has been overwhelming, and we are truly thankful. Rivers Bend has always been more than a business—it is a place where friends, families, and visitors come together. While this is an incredibly difficult time, we remain hopeful and committed to moving forward.

We will share additional updates as more information becomes available. Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and continued support.

Chin up!! This camping family has had some serious hurdles over the years and look at you all standing tall for any and all! Although our paths have only crossed for six months, the amount of love you all have shown Josiahs family Sara and myself, the girls, bears and DA BOYS! will truly be burned into our heart!
