… going to call it a successful day at swap meet! i took 25 laying hens and 1 standard rooster… 4 ducks, 10 rabbits, 2 silkie chicks and 2 silkie roosters.

came home with 1 rabbit and 2 silkie roosters!

and i don’t buy a thing! no pics bc i was not even set up yet before i had people coming to scope out my stufff 🤣🤣🤣🤣

… okay bare with me today. i’ll get to messages later…. i have a goat that’s sick as well as monitoring these emu chicks closely today…..

the egg that was about to hatch… started to sound like it was fading so i went to make a breath hole and the chick was totally upside down. so i fully assisted the little thing out…. and today it seems to be doing well. the older two seem perfect but #3 possibly appears to have stress induced wry neck 😔 so say a little prayer for #3 and #4 today. im doing the best i can in little sleep as well as getting my big kid off with his dad tomorrow morning for a week.

finally…. after 6 hours…. power is back on. pretty sure the rest of my emu eggs are toast. emu chicks are doing okay. say a little prayer for my baby dino’s bc it was a stressful night for them 😭😭😭😭😭 🦖🦖🦖🦖
