Cleaned one of the original 1940s animal spring water trough’s that’s behind the house. It has a hole in the rock slab that drains into a pipe that feeds the trough. It was all gunked up with mud and debris. There is a water trickle now. All the springs have dried up because of a low water table but I’m ready when the water table comes back up. Old ways water systems fascinate me. Another of my springs has a concrete spring box the original family used to store their milk from their cows.

It’s calving season for 2023 ❤️. Little bull born this morning. Mom asked for my help finding him after she left to get something to eat. I came out and she followed me. He wasn’t responding to her cries. Found him deep deep asleep next to the woods line. So glad my mama cows trust me with their newborns.
