Today we officially have a 6 year old! It may have taken me many days and a long night of prep, but we all lived 😂💕
I’m crossing my fingers for tired children that go to bed early tonight so I can get all the beef updated online!!! It will go fast and I will post as soon as I do, but don’t worry if you miss out! Another restock coming in a couple of weeks!

Thank you all for a wonderful market yesterday! As promised, please drop yesterday’s scarecrow picture below to have your name added to a small meat bundle and gift certificate draw ing! Charlotte will be so excited to see all the pics!

‼️‼️ I am running quite a bit behind today. CJ needed to be picked up from school and there was lots to be done this morning 🫠 But 20 dozen donuts, a few dozen cookies, almost 40 loaves of bread, 8 boxes of scones and a trailer of meat and orders later we are on our way to the Montevideo Farmers Market 🙌 have a little patience as we will probably still be setting up at start time 🫶 and don’t forget to come snap that picture! 🙌My apologies for not staying on top of updating you on our attendance at the Montevideo Farmers Market this week!!
🎉 We will indeed be there tomorrow from 3:30-6:30!!! WITH….
🍩 Pray for me, I’ll be frying them before I take kids to school 😅😴
🍞Breads and scones (I am unsure how much I can get baked before market since I have more running around in the morning than a normal market day) but I will have a nice variety and will update tomorrow!
🍪 Sourdough chocolate chip cookies!
🫶 The last of our tallow skillet sticks and salves until I pour more!
🥞 Delicious pancake mixes!
🥓🍖 Hams, bacon, sausages, pork chop sale and so much more!
🤗Next week we will have a SMALL beef restock and in 3 weeks another one!

Since we have ran short on beef constantly for so long, I decided to braise some shank cuts for supper and my gosh! They were SO tender! Lots of prepping has went on this week 🙌 rounding out the week with a big batch of cheesy turkey for harvest meals and getting all my sweet and spicy peppers dried/frozen. Next it will be onto apples, pumpkins and squash! (But thankfully those items have a long grace/storage period to get them done!)

A couple of quick announcements!
🫶We will NOT be at the Montevideo Farmers Market this week. With field harvest starting next week, being out of beef, a wedding this weekend, garden clean out, canning, prepping for an awesome fall market next week and catching up on custom meat orders, we felt it was in our best interest to wrap up loose ends at home!
🍁 I am going to be 100% done canning/freezing/drying after today! (Minus apples😅) So if I get any further produce it’s freeeee to anyone that will take it off my hands! 🙌 Also might have extra tomato sauce to sell this year as I did not need to can this much 🤣
🎃🍁🫶 Lastly! Please join us at the Montevideo Farmers Market NEXT week for a TON of fun activities! Pumpkin carving, baked goods contest AND stop at our booth for some hot beverages and a photo opportunity that Charlotte would not let me leave the store without 🫣 you would make her day to swing by and take a picture with her scarecrow! There might even be the extra incentive of participating in a drawing 😉
