Montevideo Farmers Market we are so excited to see you today! We have the trailer loaded down with what we have remaining our delicious beef cuts and all the chicken and pork cuts!
❗️Be sure to ask about our new items! Fully cooked maple links (FAST hot school day breakfast) and smoked pork chops!
🍞 we will have LIMITED breads, sourdough cookies and treats as I have spent the week canning tomatoes, freezing ENDLESS beans and 100 quarts of corn 🫠 and getting 2 kiddos ready for back to school! 🏫
🙌 that being said we will also have a few slicing cukes, slicing tomatoes and beans! The corn is DONE! 🌽
🤗 Be sure to start thinking about Labor Day weekend gatherings! Brats, hot dogs, smoking a brisket, ready to go pulled pork, ribs and more! Camping?! How about a nice supply of beef sticks? 👌🏻

Threw this 4lb roast in the slow cooker Friday morning frozen solid 😅 was gone all day and busy with garden produce until we were ready to eat around 6:30/7! Our whole family loves a good chuck roast and I love how easy it makes supper 👏

🌶️ I have been using my gardens jalapeños for the Jalapeno cheddar bread the last few weeks and the variety this week has a good heat to it! It should tone down in the bread, but just a heads up if it seems a tad spicier than normal 🌶️
🫛 If last weeks green bean prices scared you….it wasn’t just you. It was me 😂 I realized part way through the market that I labeled ALL the bags incorrectly. Double the price to be exact 😅 I thankfully noticed before anyone bought a bag, but still feel guilty for whoever looked at them and thought “whoa! Must be laced with gold” 😂

🤗 We also decided we will open one of our patches up for U-Pick. This will ONLY be available Friday late afternoon/evening, Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon. If it goes well and there’s still lots to pick from we will do it again next week!

Some of our chickens got a bit large, so I set them aside for our family and WOW I can’t believe how delicious this almost 8lb chicken was roasted 🙌
👏And now I can shred the breasts and freeze for future suppers! Our little family of 5 demolished everything but those!

🙌But now it’s back to work! We are almost completely out of custom cut availability for beef and pork for the remainder of the year 😳 I’m doing my best to wiggle people in where ever possible!
🥩 I know I haven’t updated beef inventory on the website yet, but should be done this afternoon!

🙌 Today I picked up over 600lbs of beef jerky and beef sticks! So plan to stop down next week to grab your favorite flavors!
