We are so excited thinking about how many of you are enjoying salads with our ranch mix this week.

Here's what you should know about our salad mix.

1. By the time you get hooked on how amazing it is, salad season will be over. Salad loves cold weather. Once the heat hits it, the taste becomes bitter and we rip out the beds to plant something new.

2. Salad in the photo was cut at least 15 days ago. What we harvest for market is usually cut the day prior. Feel free to stock up-- keep it sealed up in the bag and you can enjoy for quite some time.

It won't be long before there's more cherry tomatoes than the kids can eat... Which means they get listed to our PGH Elite members and then brought to market!

🚜Farm Machinery on the square!!

Please note!! We will have the West side of the square closed off starting at 1pm. AND the North side of the square closed off starting at 3pm. (Please plan accordingly.)

PGH Elite members: we've had no internet yesterday and today so the email hasn't came out, yet. Watch for it because some of you will be on a short timeline to get the orders in.

It should be to you by 7 pm tonight even if we aren't restored.

We had every intention of taking photos of the van loaded before and set up at market but this is all I have today. Thanks for showing up in Oskaloosa today! What a busy day; time to unload!

Here's a flashback to 2021. It was PGH's first year attending in person markets. By 2026 our tables will be filled with much more produce, a full selection of meat, seasoning mixes, and more. In this photo, most of the operation was just Ashley (part time), a few friends helping, and Zach putting in hours after his Vermeer job.

Today, we've moved to a larger farm, have SEVEN high tunnels, walk-in coolers/freezers, 4 employees as well as Zach and Ashley on the farm full time. 😲

It's been a wild ride and we are so very thankful for each of you who has shown up year after year to support our efforts to get local food on your tables.

See you at market in Oskaloosa, this Saturday 9-12 in front of the Courthouse! And every Saturday after that.
