Diamond H Ranch Selling Grassfed Angus Direct to Consumer

05/29/2026

How long can 230 cows last on a patch of grass this size? 🤔

This morning, Michael turned 230 head into a roughly 1/10 of an acre of forage and joked that it would be interesting to see how long it lasts before they clean it up. The answer? Probably not long. 😅

One of the things we pay attention to every day is matching cattle numbers to available forage. Move them too soon and you waste grass. Move them too late and you sacrifice future growth.

Good grazing management isn’t just about feeding cattle today—it’s about building healthier pastures for years to come. This is what intentional ranching looks like.

Good beef isn’t found in a grocery store package.
It’s built long before harvest through genetics, nutrition, grazing management, mineral programs, low-stress handling, and daily stewardship.

Marbling is earned.
And when you taste beef raised with this level of care, you know the difference immediately. 🥩

From our ranch to your table — shipping our 1/2’s and whole’s direct to your door on a frozen semi so it is guaranteed to stay frozen the entire way.

Well… this was unexpected... 🔥😅

We’re currently working through temporary logistics while we get a new re**er trailer in place, so some orders may experience slight shipping delays. We’ll be contacting affected customers directly as we work through the chaos.

And before anybody asks… yes, the beef is still coming. We may be operating on grit, caffeine, and questionable stress management at this point, but we always get it done. 🤠🥩

Most people blaming “meat” for inflammation never stop to ask a better question:

What KIND of meat?
How was it raised?
What was it fed?
What else is in the diet?

There’s a massive difference between ultra-processed food systems… and nutrient-dense beef raised with intention.

Real beef provides:
🥩 highly bioavailable protein
🥩 iron, zinc, and B vitamins
🥩 healthy fats for hormones + energy
🥩 deep satiety that helps stabilize cravings

At Diamond H Ranch, we believe food should nourish — not just fill a plate.

That’s why we raise our cattle slow, intentionally, and with stewardship at the center of everything we do.

Because knowing your rancher matters.

He watches cattle like some people watch Netflix.
He’s ALWAYS waiting for his chance to work. 😂 And he’s such a good boy, even when I fake him out… he listens anyway.

A good cattle dog is drive + discipline. And I truly think that balance matters.

And truly, half the time they want the job more than we do. 😂

Anybody else have a dog that takes their job this seriously?

This is what intentional ranching looks like.

Fresh pasture. Healthy cattle. Slow-grown beef raised with care from start to finish.

We believe you should know where your food comes from, how it was raised, and the people behind it. That means cattle moved with intention, nutrient-dense forage, no shortcuts, and stewardship that happens every single day — not just when the camera is rolling.

The result is clean, ranch-direct beef you can feel good feeding your family.

Most consumers have no idea how misleading beef labeling laws really are. It’s scary. Beef can be raised outside the U.S., brought here for processing, and still be labeled in ways that make people THINK they’re buying American-raised beef. That’s a problem.

Because people deserve transparency about:
🥩 Where their beef came from
🌱 What the cattle were fed
🐄 How the animals were raised
🇺🇸 Whether they’re supporting American ranch families
🧾 What standards were actually behind their food

This is why ranch direct beef matters. Because it restores connection between families and the people raising their food.

At Diamond H Ranch, we believe consumers should KNOW their rancher — not just trust packaging. And while small box orders may not always compete with grocery store loss-leader pricing, bulk beef is where families often save substantially while filling their freezer with beef they trust.
