FYI…Montgomery County Texas Beekeepers…..the county will begin county wide mosquito spraying tonight from dusk until 3 am. Tarp your hives as an added precaution.

Annual reminder: Bee swarm season is here. PM me for swarms and bee removals in Montgomery, Walker, Grimes, Waller, Austin, Colorado, and Fayette Counties (and further if needed).

The picture in the left is of a swarm that has settled on a saw horse outside. They haven’t taken up permanent residence and are not aggressive. The other is of a bee colony in a house that had to be removed. I either situation, wasp spray is not a good decision. I am insured and work on all sorts of bee situations. PM me for a free quote.

For a few years now I have been blessed and honored to support the RODEOHOUSTON Tours Committee when they visit Blinn College to learn about the different types of Texas agriculture. Working alongside my friend, Nathan Krueger, we put on a great, memorable presentation about honey bees. I am inspired by the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo volunteers and how much they care about serving kids and families in our communities. For me this is when rodeo season kicks off. I feel a good rodeo season coming on!
