Rest in peace, Dolly Parton (1946–2026)

Today we lost a true legend. Dolly Parton wasn't just a country music icon — she was a light in the lives of everyone she touched. Through her Imagination Library, she gifted free books to thousands upon thousands of children, sparking a lifelong love of reading and helping countless kids overcome reading difficulties. Her generosity knew no bounds.

Her music transcended every genre — inspiring pop, rock, gospel, and country artists alike with timeless songs like "I Will Always Love You," "Jolene," and "9 to 5." Her voice, her wit, and her heart made her one of a kind.

Dolly gave the world so much more than music. She gave us kindness, hope, and a reminder to always help others along the way. Her legacy will live on in every child who learns to read because of her, and every artist she inspired.

Thank you, Dolly. You will always be loved.
