SURPRISE! Tomorrow (Aug 21) will be the last day of Holker Sweet Corn 2025! Yesterday's high humidity and heat put our last planting into hyper growing mode and it is now all fully grown. The kids will be selling at the corn stand until 6pm today and tomorrow, as long as our pickers can keep up with demand. We will open at 9am tomorrow.

8/18/25 - Today's corn is the perfect size for freezing/canning! We also just barely got into our final planting this morning, and that corn size is getting there pretty quickly as well.

We are guessing we will have corn until about Thursday, Aug 21st, give or take a day. It's going fast! While we try to keep the corn stand stocked until about 6pm each day, depending on demand this week and how many kiddos we have to pick more corn, we may end up having to close a little earlier than we'd like. If that happens, we'll be sure to post an update here on our page.

If you are planning to come by for more than 5 dozen, can you shoot us a message letting us know when you'll be stopping by so we can plan to set that aside for you?

UPDATE 12:45PM - The Holker corn stand is open for business! Stop by and say hi! Bi-color sweet corn for $6/dozen at 5764 County Rd 37 NE, Monticello.

8-16-25 - 8AM - Good stormy morning! We will be delayed in opening up the corn stand today. Our sweet corn is hand-picked the day that we sell it so until the storms pass and there's no threat of lightning, we will have to wait to get the crew into the corn patch to start picking.
***IF YOU PRE-ORDERED a large order, you will be our top priority to get your order ready as soon as we can get it picked. We will be reaching out to as many of you as possible to let you know of the delay and reschedule a pickup time. HOPEFULLY later today!

One of our Holker kids, Henry, will be selling MAGIC cards at the corn stand to help raise funds for MHS football! Some really great deals from local businesses, plus we'll even throw in a dollar off a dozen sweet corn for you if you buy a Magic card!

We also have our new mascot, "Corn"elius, making some appearances at the stand again today!

Lots of fun things happening, on top of our delicious bi-color sweet corn! We are here daily from 9am-6pm. See you soon!

8/10/25 - We have some beautifully ripe bi-color sweet corn for sale at the farm today! The kids picked the last of the 3rd crop and got a peek at 4th crop, which is still a little young. Possibly might sell out early today since we need to wait for more corn to ripen up before picking again. We'll make sure to post if we have to close early!

Rain or shine, it's a great day for some 🌽Holker Sweet Corn🌽 It was a little muddy and messy in the corn patch this morning after some rain and knocked-down corn stalks from the high winds last week. But the kids got creative to keep their feet dry and worked hard to load up the wagon! They're selling at the corn stand daily from 9am-6pm. Stop by and say hi and grab a dozen for $6!
