It’s been a little while since we’ve shared an update here… and there’s a reason.

We’ve been in a season of transition—finishing old chapters, stepping into new ones, and learning to trust God with the pages we can’t see yet.

A lot has been happening behind the scenes at Sun Haven Farm, and we finally sat down to share a little of the story.

Where we’ve been.
What we’ve been working on.
What we’re dreaming about.
And what we’re looking forward to as we count down to our first opening in fall 2027. 🌻

The next chapter is still being written, but we’re pretty excited about where the story is going.

We’re learning to trust the Author of our story…even when we can’t see how every page will unfold.

Right now, we’re simply trying to be faithful with the assignment God has placed in our hands. We don’t have all the answers, and we certainly don’t have the whole picture… but we’re learning that we don’t need to.

We just need to keep saying yes to the next thing He puts in front of us.🌻

One step. One season. One page at a time.

And trusting that the Author knows exactly where this story is going.💛

Sometimes God reminds us of His faithfulness in the simplest places.

A wildflower doesn’t worry about where it will bloom tomorrow. It simply grows where God planted it.

And maybe that’s what He’s reminding me of lately, too.

I don’t need to know every detail of what’s ahead. I don’t need to have every piece of the next chapter figured out.

If God cares for the wildflowers, He will care for me.

And He will care for you, too.🌻

Every beautiful harvest begins long before the blooms. 🌻

When people picture Sun Haven Farm, they often imagine fields of sunflowers, happy families, and peaceful moments.

So do we.

But today, the fields are still being prepared. The vision is still unfolding. And we’re learning that every masterpiece begins with faith, hard work, and the willingness to keep showing up,
even when the finished picture isn’t visible yet.

There’s something about summer at the farm that slows everything down. The raspberries won’t last forever, and neither will these little years, so we’re soaking up every sweet moment while we can. 🍓🌿

Sun Haven Farm is a place where ordinary days become the ones we’ll remember most.
