Over the next few weeks I will be highlighting this years Christmas ornaments! I had some requests to make some teacher ones so there are several options!
Any ornaments you see that have color are hand painted by me.
Made here in Kentucky!
I will also be offering some ornament designs I made last year.
If you don’t see an ornament you like and have a specific request, please talk to me! I will work with you to see if we can find something you like and I’ll be happy to make it.
These teacher ornaments are $10 each!

As I am winding down for today I have taken some time to reflect on the 2nd Annual Market at the Mountain. Did it have its moments of difficulty? Yes. In only a few hours we completely changed the venue location. Today's event is not what we had in mind but how everything fell into place was such a God move. For days we kept on eye on the weather. We thought we would get lucky. When I saw that we were expecting rain this morning I really thought it was game over. I hated to disappoint all the vendors. They invested so much time into preparing. Curt told me to ask if Country Haven Venue had their barn free. I was skeptical because it was less than 24 hours. Sure enough they had it open and were more than happy to host us. A majority of the vendors agreed and were still willing to move forward. The amount of vendors and people who just volunteered their time that hustled to make this happen made me a bit emotional. With events like these, it is never a guarantee... especially with such a short notice venue change and hurricane weather... but the vendors and attendees showed up. No one was disappointed with how the day turned out. Vendors were happy with sales and attendees seemed happy. That is all I can ask for. Thank you to our friends and families for all the support and showing up for us. Thank you to several businesses that I will mention in the next day or 2 so this post doesn't get too long. Special shout outs below:
Tim Ogle Art & Music for being with us from the beginning and ready to do whatever it takes to make this happen.
Heidi Honea for showing up and ready to do whatever it took for not only us but any vendor that needed help. She hustled hard. She also donated a gift certificate for the raffle.
Holly Van Hoosier, Brian, and Nancy for making the delicious food, serving it, and selling some amazing lemonade. Brain also painted the beautiful Market at the Mountain event sign.

Country Haven Venue for the building and accommodating us.
Curts parents for funding the venue tab and standing behind us and doing whatever we needed from them.

I could not have asked for a better group of vendors. They didn't just show up, set up, and sold their things. They cleaned and got the venue back to how it was. I know I am missing things and people. For some reason the people that are not tagged, Facebook won't let me.

The last few days have been crazy. They have had their ups and downs. I’ve put off assembling some products because everything was up in the air because of the weather. We are still doing Market at the Mountain and it would not be possible without my family, friends, vendors, and the support from our community. The way EVERYONE has handled the last minute venue change and hustle makes me a bit emotional. Thank you all for believing in this event and for trusting me. Let’s hope we have a great turnout tomorrow! The atmosphere will be great!

Market at the Mountain UPDATE: Since we are getting rain in the morning, we are still moving forward with the event but we are changing location! Country Haven Wedding Venue has be gracious enough to let us use their barn! It’s in the dry and concrete floor! Vendors and people will be dry! Address for the new location is 5867 Hwy 200 Monticello, KY 42633
Please come and support people that have poured so much time into making this even possible! The event will be 10-2 instead of 3!

As of right now, Market at the Mountain is still on! Rain is not predicted to hit until Saturday evening. We are keeping an eye on this.

A Hurricane Watch is now up from Mississippi to the Florida Panhandle. Here's when Isaias gets to you.

The coast gets the worst of it Friday night, and it's raining in Kentucky by Sunday morning.
