With the 2018 Illinois State Fair in the books we wanted to take the opportunity to sincerely thank everyone who continues to support us as we work to produce quality Montadales. We placed 2nd Early Spring ewe lamb and 1st the late Spring Ewe lamb class.

Congratulations to JW Simms-Reisner for winning his yearling ewe class with a ewe purchased from us at the 2017 National show and sale.

Best of luck to those friends that are yet to show this week! Looking forward to seeing everyone in Louisville

With a limited number of ewe lambs to offer, we plan to dig deep into the yearling pen this year.

Study this yearling ewe paper hard as this is an excellent opportunity to pick up some proven genetics that not only hand banners but will go to work in the barn.

We are about as behind as one could get in the social media world but finally getting around to posting some pictures. Marshall Sheep Farm ended the 2016 show season with a bang when Miss "Wild Irish Rose" brought home the purple banner from NAILE. We hope to build off of that success with the 2017 lamb crop. At this point we are far from dissapointed with the lambs on the ground.

2017 lambs will be sired by:
Marsh 475 "Eskimo Joe" Benjamin X H.S.F
Marsh 470 "Cerv" Benjamin X Alice 377
Ekern 420 Ekern X Ekern

We plan to cut out an exciting set of yearlings the first part of March and will open the barn to visitors soon after!

We don't generally like to advertise pictures on the stand, but after having kids we have adapted to the "you get what you can get" mentality! All three of these lambs are sired by a homegrown buck we call "Cerv". It is the first time we have used our own bucks, and are more than pleased with the results! Look for us at Springfield as well as National. Call or text Chad 217-637-2199 with questions. Look forward to seeing everyone at the sales! Chad Marshall Annie Marshall
