Good morning.. I am truely blessed to be so busy with raising food that I don't have time to post our Farmers Markets until last minute 🤣..

We will be at New Glarus Fwrmers Market today (Friday) 3:00-5:30ish and Galena IL Farmers Market 7:00am-noon

Lots going on in the field with some new produce rolling in. Some of the produce I am listing we have is only a small amount and may be sold out before too long, hopefully we will see more coming in. But then again things like sugar snap peas are dwindling down for this season.

Just a tid bit,, I'm not sure if there is still a scare on lettuce issues at the grocery stores or not but Kale is very interchangeable on their uses andd make a great substitute for lettuce use. We just had BLT's lastnight but instead our family calls it BKT because we usually use Kale instead of Lettuce since lettuce is not in season during the hotter months of the summer. We love our Kale..

My heartfelt gratitude goes out to all of you who came out today at our Galena Il Farmers Market to support our farm here at 7 Harvest Moons. The weather was not ideal and the amount of vendors who came out to vend were small but mighty, but you still showed up with the intention of purchasing from us. Your actions impact our farm and our way of life and I can't not express this enough.. So thank you from the bottom of our hearts from our farm and our Galena Farmers Market. We hope to see you again for community support and for great conversations. ❤️

7 Harvest Moons Farm is planning on being at this Saturday's Farmers Market in Galena from 7:00- noon (hopefully)..

Unfortunately New Glarus Farmers Market was just canceled for todays 3:00-5:30 scheduled market just as I am outside trying to harvest for both markets before the rain sets in. This in very unfortunate but I understand because of the amount of rain and wind that is predicted.

I know the forecast says rain and wind for Galena, IL tomorrow morning but it is extremely important for us to attempt our Farmers Markets. Our markets are our bread and butter of our Family Farm income and without the support from our customers with sales we can't make this lifestyle work. We hope you all will try your very best to come support us tomorrow morning in Galena.. Thank you

For those that are my customers in New Glarus Farmers Market, if you would like to still purchase produce from us we can figure out logistics and make this happen. We would really appreciate all support with sales.

Can I get a show of hands that would be interested in purchasing sugar snap peas before our Next New Glarus Farmers Market; really should be within the next 2 days?. We had to miss our 2 markets to attend my amazing niece's wedding in Minnesota but as we all know produce production does not pause for life events. I am in the midst of harvesting peas this morning and am overwhelmed because of the short storage life peas have and the abundance that we need to move out the door. I would greatly appreciate support from you in the area that would purchase.

$4.00 a dry pint
