Serenity Valley Farms

Serenity Valley Farms Serenity Valley Farms is a family-owned, 50-acre permaculture homestead nestled in the rolling countryside of south-central Kentucky near Lake Cumberland.

Founded in 2015, the farm was built on a simple mission: to raise clean, nutrient-dense food the way nature intended—while restoring and enriching the land for future generations. Specializing in pasture-raised beef, pork, and poultry, Serenity Valley Farms follows regenerative farming practices that prioritize soil health, animal welfare, and sustainability. Livestock are raised outdoors on open

pasture, supported by non-GMO feed and managed without antibiotics, hormones, or chemical inputs. The farm is known for its premium offerings, including 21-day dry-aged beef and heritage Mangalitsa pork, often referred to as the “Wagyu of pork” for its exceptional flavor and marbling. Alongside these specialty meats, the farm produces pasture-raised chicken and eggs, all raised in a natural, low-stress environment. Owned and operated by Bob and Colleen Browning, Serenity Valley Farms embraces a hands-on, faith-driven homesteading lifestyle rooted in permaculture principles—working with nature to create a healthy ecosystem for both land and livestock. You don't need a reason to make steak tonight. Steak bites take one pan, about ten minutes, and a handful of ingredients you probably already have — no special occasion required. This is the kind of dinner you can just decide to make on a Tuesday.

Full recipe linked below — give it a try tonight.

There's a moment you can hear before you can see it — when the pan's finally hot enough and the steak hits it clean. That's the whole secret to steak bites: a hot, uncrowded pan and garlic butter that finishes it off. Watch it happen start to finish.

Full recipe and video linked below if you want to try it yourself.

We don’t make cooking videos because we’re trying to be chefs.

We make them because raising good food is only part of the job.

Customers ask us all the time, “How do I cook this?” or “What’s the best way to prepare this?”

We can stand there at the market or farm store and explain it, but by the time you get home, pull that cut out of the freezer and get ready to cook dinner, you may not remember everything we told you.

So instead, we can point you to a video and show you exactly how we prepare it—from seasoning and prep to the grill, smoker, skillet or oven.

A great cut of meat doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes all it takes is a little confidence, a simple recipe and someone showing you what to do.

That’s why we share the meals we cook here at Serenity Valley Farms—real food, cooked at home, using the same beef, pork and chicken we raise for our own family.

If one of our videos answers that “How do I cook this?” question and helps you put a great meal on the table, then it did exactly what we wanted it to do.
