Another by-product of peanuts that you may not know about is peanut vine hay. Which is not the same as Perennial peanut hay. After the pickers separate the peanuts from the vine, the vines are discarded out of the back of the picker. The vines still contain a lot of nutrients & make excellent feed for cows.

Last week our girl had her terminal cow show. She finished 2nd in Showmanship & 5th Overall Heifer with her heifer Lil Bit.
She didn’t place with her homegrown steer Mcain but she sold him for a hefty profit at the end of show auction.
