As always I am way behind on posting anything. There has been so much going on lately we started fall kidding several weeks ago, we got one group out of the way and are steadily awaiting the next group to start kidding, had a dog attack take place in one of our herds, and have been out working on multiple grazing projects, but none of that is the important part because without help none of it would have been possible!
Whenever I can I like to give credit and appreciation where it is due so this post is about the people who help me make it all happen every day and sometimes twice on Sunday! There is definitely a group of family that make us Fritz Family Farms, but these two did not start out as family and definitely did not take long at all to fall into that category. They simply started as our neighbors when we were just getting started and helped out a little here and there, but more than anything looked after us whether we knew it at the time or not. Butch recently “retired” and now he and Minnie help me look after the farm.
Thank you Butch and Minnie Schildhauer! You both help to give peace of mind that everything on the farm is squared away and all of the animals are taken care of. You are both a blessing beyond what words can express, thank you both so much for all that you do!
A little back story on this picture we had a kid this year that just needed a little extra help and Momma Minnie stepped in without hesitation to make sure he got all that he needed!
