I haven't posted much here lately but the herd is doing it's thing enjoying downtime in the summer! I do want to announce I have made some additions this year and moved a couple of does that didn't fit right with us. The most exciting thing I have done was adding a new buck so far so I guess I need to intorduce Carzan Farms Nite Rider to everyone! I am reall excited about this buck bc he is as close to Old Mountain Farm breeding as I can get with out buying one directly from them. His Mom has placed at nationals and both parents placed very well in the junior class at the hoosier classic. He has some massive udders in his pedigree and I am hoping he will help move my herd forward! I might even take him out to show a bit bc he is a handsome boy. Excuse the pictures of him half shaved but I could not do the smell in the middle of rut season lol The pictures of the parents are care of Carzan Farms so if anyone knows her let her know I love this guy already!

Well a bucket of shame, a doe that should have dried up 2 months ago, and breeding to kick the season off!!!

Our Tentative Breeding plans for this year! We are stepping into Artificial Insemenation for some of the older does so that I can get a batch of good babies to carry on their lines.

The Live Cover Breedings are from my own bucks and 2 of them are my babies from this year so hopefully everyone sticks!
