We took a day to help a friend clear an overgrown property and it’s so fun to see a satisfying before and after. It’s amazing what can be accomplished with our crew in 4 hours.

Hey friends, we will be skipping the market at Johnston's this week as the veggies are taking a break in this heat. But our baker has been hard at it and turned out some delicious treats.

We will be featuring our treats at our new farm stand at 3320 Old Lloyd Rd. Or as some of you know it "Dave Jones's old place". We will be out there hoping to meet our neighbors tomorrow (Saturday 6/27) from 10-1 and the farm stand will be open until 7pm or whenever it sells out.

Stop by to pick up some:
- Coastal white cheddar and green onion scones

- Cranberry orange scones

- Watermelon sugar cookies

- Ginger crinkle cookies

- Fresh picked figs

- Green onions

- We will have several plants including basil, mullein, cilantro, sunchokes, and more.

Stop by and say hello, or give us a horn honk, they make us smile so thanks to those that have kept us on our toes while we built the stand.

See you tomorrow at 3320 Old Lloyd Rd.

Good morning Monticello! We are set up at Johnston's this morning with Half Acre Wood LLC and Green Brier nursery.

Today we have fresh green onions, mullein, basil, cilantro, sunchokes, aloe, and Dracula plants.

The ladies whipped up some watermelon vanilla sugar cookies, ginger crinkle cookies, and caramel corn.

Come out and grab some snacks for the watermelon festival!

Had a long enough break in the rain to get the tomatoes pruned and to use our handy bug vacuum. Horn worms, diseases and other pests are so much easier to spot once you defoliate a bit.

I’m so excited to see we succeeded in getting lettuce to germinate in this heat. Salad in July is the goal!

We've got green onions for all your recipe needs. Having trouble with recipes that feature green onions? We can help! Listen as Jonathan gives you a quick rundown of some of the possible uses...and no we certainly didn't "allegedly" rip off Wayne with this bit.

You pick or we pick, either way we have two 80 foot beds full of delicious green onions, which have been grown with composted rabbit manure, and never sprayed with chemicals or pesticides.

$2 a pound is a heck of a deal so come on down and grab yours today! 3320 Old Lloyd Rd, Monticello Florida 32344. Shoot us a message and we will open the gate for you. We are available most days from 9am to 7pm with notice.

Several people expressed interest in growing their own mullein so we got to work in the Quonset Hut and turned out these beautiful cedar planters.

They are 16 x 16 x 16 inches and are filled with composted soil from our rabbitry. We have planted them with starter mullein so you can have your own supply close at hand.

These are $65 a piece or bring them both home for $100. We will have them at the Johnston's Farmer's market tomorrow from 10-1pm.
