After a lot of figuring, we have decided to scratch RHH Tuff Lady Lot #37 from the select sale at Horn showcase .
She had broken over two inches off her right horn and our plan was to leave her in the sale and the vet came out to pull blood for all the tests and while getting in the chute she hit it again and broke more off . I know it has to be tender to her because she acted like she never had before. So at that time we decided to put her back in the pasture with the other heifers and she will become a foundation cow in our herd . She was on track to be 66 inches at 24 months. It took us a few days to get the bleeding stopped. But it is good and in the pasture, we have her breed to SL Pokey a Awsome Reb son . He was over 80” before he turned 3 years old. So get ready - Tuffy ain’t done yet; she is going to give us some good calves!
We are very proud of her and she will shine another day!
