We have two hives that we have caught over the last 3 years. Ones older so more established. We were able to get in and inspect the hives and relocate one that was placed higher up to encourage catching a swarm. Well now the hive is established and needed to be moved lower and onto an easier to maintain area. We reduced the top box on this hive since they had not fully built out the comb so the would not finish it and use the are before winter so it would be empty space taking up heat in the winter. In the stronger hive we were about to harvest a whole box of honey and tightened their box up.

Last night we suited up and moved the stronger, older hive over with the newer hive so they’re easier to check both at the same time. A bee got into Jen’s suit and landed on her nose so she abandoned us with the quickness! And Alex took her veil off too soon and a bee(maybe just a bug?) landed on her face and she punched herself in the face! This whole time I’m still getting the ratchet strap and tractor away from the very angry bees and don’t know what’s going on but I knew Jen yelled and ran off, Alex looks like she’s fighting herself(she’s winning and losing) and Ellie’s yelling to me that mom needs me!
We learned that in an emergency, Ellie won’t panic and run away, Jen picks Flight and Alex picks Fight 😄😭🤦‍♂️

Everyone’s fine and it was a hilarious ending to a long day at home 😄❤️

A man slaughtered a big cow, started a fire and said to his daughter.

“Daughter, call our friends and neighbours to eat with us... let us feast!"

His daughter took to the street and started shouting.

“Please help us put out a fire at my Dad's house!".

After a few moments, a small group of people came out and the rest acted like they didn't hear the cry for help.

Those who came ate and drank until late.

The stunned father turned to his daughter and said to her.

“The people who came I don't know them and had never seen them before, so where are our friends and neighbours ?".

The daughter said.

“Those who came out of their homes came to help us put out a fire in our house and not for the party.
These are the ones who deserve our generosity and hospitality".

Those who don’t help you during your struggle, shouldn’t eat with you at your victory party ❤️
