Crazy Acres Farmstead

Crazy Acres Farmstead We aim to produce our own food in as natural a manner as possible, while selling any surplus to help We will sell any surplus to those who are interested.

In August of 2016, we bought a large 150 year old house with 5.5 acres, finally fulfilling our dream of having our own little farmstead. Right now we have chickens, ducks, and turkeys, and we sell our surplus pastured and organically fed chicken eggs for $3 a dozen. We do plan to expand and produce a variety of meats, eggs, fruits, and veggies for our family, as well as possibly grains and seeds f

or us and the animals. We are working on producing as much of our own food as we can, using sustainable, organic permaculture techniques and avoiding toxic chemicals. We want to work with nature, not against her. We are also considering renting out our pasture for wedding and other events in order to raise some money for farm equipment and some repairs for the house. We will update when we are ready to start on that venture. Our family consists of a work-from-home dad, a homeschooling mom, and our five children. Although we do not now have specific hours, there is nearly always somebody home. If you would like a tour of our farmstead or have any questions, send us a email or FB message.
