Started wheat harvest yesterday. Seems to be good quality grain. Moisture started out about 15% and was down to 12.8% by the end of the day. Good test weight. Straw is tough yet so it's slow going but it's like I always say, every load ran today is one less to be ran tomorrow.
We thank the Lord every day for the blessings we receive.

Picked up some updates for the grain setup yesterday. Another job to add to the summer list.

When you have livestock you don't get to shut the farm down for the weekends or holidays. It's a 365 day a year endeavor. On the days that we give everyone time off, this pretty lady comes to her hubby's rescue at chore time even on Christmas Day. She puts on her coat, hat, little cute boots, and gloves to protect those nails. I'm a very lucky man.
