Life has been busy on the farm.
Long days, with every day ending in complete exhaustion โ but also so much progress.
Farmer Man, as heโs been affectionately nicknamed, got the second section of the north pasture done, and we were able to move the sheep over for rotational grazing. Then he immediately started working on a back fence connecting one pasture to the other to help keep our Great Pyrenees from heading off into the woods.
The Halo Collars work about 90% of the time, but that other 10% is super frustrating.
Soon, the entire backyard area will be fenced in for the dogs and the new puppy.
Yesโฆ a new puppy will be joining the farm soon! Stay tuned for pictures! ๐พ
Once the back fence is finished โ hopefully tomorrow โ weโll have two more sections left on the north pasture and then thatโll be done.
I also rototilled a new garden area this year because last yearโs garden spot was clearly not the best choice. On top of that, all the animal pens got cleaned out and fresh bedding put down.
Exhausted? Absolutely.
Grateful? Also absolutely.
Farm life is no joke, but little by little, itโs all coming together.
