In this season of gratitude and wrapping up the year, we wanted to share that Freshies is officially closed. If you’ve wondered why we’ve been quiet, it’s because this has been the hardest season our family has ever walked through. We’re coming out of it a little worn, a little broken, and processing far more than we ever expected.
When I tried to put together a highlight reel of the good times; the farmers markets, the thousands of pounds of regeneratively grown produce (so much of it donated), the joyful educational moments, veggie fun at the preschool, farm tours, wreath workshops, advocacy for school nutrition and locally grown food, truck loads of flowers, and so much more…I was reminded of just how much beauty we created together.
Our mission was successful.�We sustainably grew incredible food and flowers.�We helped people connect to their food.
As we close out Freshies and prepare to step into 2026, we’re looking toward fresh beginnings, continued growing, and ongoing healing.
To our community: thank you for always rooting for us. Your support made everything we did worthwhile, and we’re grateful for every harvest, every conversation, and every moment we grew together.
