The current rooster count is 15 out of 19. I'm shocked; I never expected to have so many roosters. I'd like to keep one rooster and have five that I'm considering. Posting pictures of the ones under consideration. Let me know which are your favorites.

I know I’m way late on updating the status on the chicken eggs I hatched back in early spring. Out of 24 eggs 19 hatched successfully. How many roosters do you think we got?

Life has been beyond busy. I recently rejoined the workforce with the intention of working part-time, but due to staffing issues, I've been working full-time hours. Trying to get my garden in order, wrangling chickens, and we had a surprise calf born yesterday morning. Life is busy. On a personal note, I was also included in my niece's Make-A-Wish and was able to enjoy a short getaway in sunny California. Mostly, I'm just grateful she is now cancer-free and is able to get back to being a normal teenager. 🩷

Gunther is usually very food motivated but when the grass is so lush grain isn’t as appealing. Thankfully he’s back where he’s supposed to be.
