Great news! FJ Medina Farm will be at all of our scheduled market locations tomorrow!

While some farmers markets are canceling due to the weather, we will still be open and ready to serve you with fresh, locally grown produce.

📍 Charlottesville: Although the Charlottesville Farmers Market has officially been canceled, FJ Medina Farm will still be there from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM with plenty of fresh produce available.

Our tomatoes are grown in high tunnels—large, plastic-covered structures that help protect the plants from excessive rain, strong winds, and temperature swings. Unlike a greenhouse, high tunnels rely on natural sunlight and ventilation, creating an ideal environment for growing healthy, flavorful tomatoes.

By keeping the plants protected, we can reduce disease pressure, improve fruit quality, and extend our growing season. This allows us to harvest tomatoes earlier in the summer and continue producing later into the fall.

The result? Beautiful, vine-ripened tomatoes with great flavor, grown right here on our farm with care and attention every step of the way.
