Our Wake Cattle Company page is here to let ya'll know who we are and what we do. We are raising high quality beef cattle with a couple of goals in mind.

We do want to market and sell a select group of good bulls and some choice replacement heifers, but out main goal is a finished product fit for your table! We are improving our genetics and thus the quality of our beef and pork each breeding season.

Checking cows the other day, this rain has helped the grass so the cattle are really looking good! I always make sure I have a salt block and high quality minerals in to my cows and I like to keep protein tubs available just so they are getting all the nutrients they need!!

We cooked hamburgers and pork chops this weekend for our guests, also cooked a pork tenderloin that was Uhhhhmazing!!! I’ll post the hamburgers video after my bride finishes editing!!
I’ve got plenty of pork left, only 34 lbs of ground beef left, and the 2 steers are scheduled for processing on June 10th….they’ll hang for 14 days and then will be ready for your freezer!! Let me know what you need!! We have pork and beef bundle boxes, combination boxes with pork and beef and we will have 1/4, 1/2 and whole beefs available somewhere around June 24th. Out here feeding the steers and the F1 bull today! Taking the bull to be BSE tested in the am and delivering him to a local farmer! He’s leasing him for 90 days or so to breed 8 cows. The steers are ready, and my plan is to get them on the processing schedule this week, so let me know if you need beef or pork!!
If freezer space is an issue, you can always look at going in with family or friends on a half or whole beef, or look at our bundle boxes!! Check out our website at www.wakecattleco.com!!
