💰💰💰STRIKE IT RICH💰💰💰

Last year we took an extremely special Tamworth boar to the inaugural Strike It Rich Pig Sale. We were very honored by how well he was received. He was the top-selling male of the entire sale and set a world record for a Tamworth boar at $30,000, selling to 333’s, thanks again Isaac!

Even more exciting for our firm is the fact that he was so well received by breeders across the country, and his offspring have been extremely sought after this spring.

This year we are excited to bring a pair of Tamworth's to Strike It Rich that we believe have the ability to do the same thing be extremely competitive show pigs and go on to become herd changers down the road.

Ironically enough, both are sired by FYF and out of a Remember Me sow that was the Champion Tamworth Gilt at the Kansas City and Aksarben shows in 2023. Their granddam is the sow we call Tina, who was the Champion Tamworth Gilt at the Indiana State Fair in 2020.

We also have a crossbred Male pig that we’re extremely high on. He is sired by Test of Time and out of a Stinger female that was a 15th overall D1 dark cross gilt at OYE this past spring.!

We are incredibly excited about this set!!

Escape Average ‘26…that’s a wrap 👏🏼

From the entire ABF crew, we want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who made this year’s farm sale one to remember. Everyone who bid, bought, supported, showed interest, or joined us at the farm, we thank you for being apart of our biggest event of the year.

We’re not quite finished for the season and there’s still lots of work to be done (and pigs to be sold), but we can’t help but feel grateful for the success this season has brought us already. THIS is why we do what we do - selling and placing high quality pigs in the barns of good families across the country will always be rewarding for us at the end of the day. We can’t wait to keep rolling and doing what we do best.

The 11 litter Durocs are definitely a headline our Escape the Average offering! They’re sired by Testimony, the popular Wehmeier boar standing at Crossroads Genetics, known for generating elite look, build, and show-ring presence. The dam is a proven 76 South female that flat-out produces. Most recently, she raised the 2026 Champion Duroc Barrow at the San Antonio Stock Show, shown by Jagger Collier. This sow clicks every time she’s bred, consistently putting hogs in the backdrop at the biggest stages — and raising ones that go on to win at the highest levels.

When we dove into the Spot program 4 years ago, we wanted to go all in and try to make them as competitive as we possibly could. We bought one of the better females we’d ever had the opportunity to buy and it’s been a fun ride to see what she’s done for us!!!

The successes we’ve been fortunate enough to experience have been humbling and lots of fun!!! To have raised the Spots we have in the last few years that have won the shows they have, makes us proud!!! To have raised a sire like Silent Night, then see him become as popular as he has and be discussed in such high regard by the best in the industry, is truly incredible!!!

We know he will make an impact but his mother looks like she did it again with this set of pigs we are fired up to offer in our Escape Average Sale!!! Some of the most special individuals we have had the chance to offer in this breed!!!
