We’ve been wanting to share a few things with all of you, so consider this a little newsletter for our amazing customers and supporters.
Tyler and I were able to take some time away from the craziness of the shop and travel up to Michigan as a family. It’s funny… we named our business “Eremos” with the mission of slowing down and upholding the belief that finding rest and solitude from the busyness of life is essential, especially in today’s world. Yet, owning and running a business sure makes it hard to live out that mission. Who woulda thought?!
We took both of our boys camping for the first time and created memories with them that we’ll have forever. Our oldest was so excited to see “the ocean,” but he was NOT excited about the temperature when he ran into the water or the fact that he didn’t see any sharks or whales. Our youngest decided that sand and dirt make for a WAY better skin application than soap, and that apparently anything can (and should) be thrown into a bonfire. All in all, it was an amazing time away as a family.
We are so thankful for that uninterrupted time together, and we know it would not have been possible without the incredible staff we have. As any business owner knows, having reliable, friendly, hardworking, and trustworthy staff is so important and truly necessary. Our staff is committed to the same things we are- making sure that each and every one of you who chooses to support us is met with kindness, stellar coffee and baked goods, and a positive experience that makes you want to come back.
Thank you, Eremos staff, for continuing to create the special space we desire for our customers, even when we’re out of town.
And thank you, Eremos customers, for continuing to choose us and for extending that same kindness to our staff. We also want to express our appreciation to all of you for supporting us through this mess of construction. There have been so many unknowns we’ve had to navigate during this first year of owning the business, and the construction has been the biggest bear we’ve dealt with. So many of you have continued to show up, speak words of support and encouragement, pray for us, and remain positive alongside us.

And lastly, on the coffee side of things, we’ll be releasing our FALL MENU soon! Our baristas have been hard at work creating a delicious menu for you all to enjoy this fall season. Don’t worry! We understand it’s still 85 degrees outside, so there’s still plenty of time to enjoy our awesome summer menu 😎
