Since my morning has not gone as planned, still have hopes for the afternoon....this Lamb in a Pocket kit will be available in the Wool Shed, 30.00 with jean pocket sewn on. I decided to make my example into a pillow hence the sewn on woolstrips but youcan finish anyway you want.
My kits are not paint by number, I give you the design, lots of fiber choices and you make my design your own. Be the artist, have fun, enjoy the process.

Check out this beautiful quilt made by Aurora Bonk who won Best of Show in Sewing!!

Aurora started sewing in 4th grade at the 4-H sewing club and stayed connected with one of the leaders. Not long after, she began entering still exhibits in the fair. At 14 she joined Junior Market Livestock and started selling rabbits in the auction. Now, at 19 and all these years later she asked the ladies from the Hale Country Quilters club to help her put together a quilt with all of her ribbons. Since January, Aurora has spent every 2nd and 4th Wednesday at sit ‘n sew with members of the club working on her quilt.

Also shown in the picture is Miss Nora Dean from the Hale Country Quilters.

Whew its a true July summer day!
It's wool in the Wool Shed. Today. I have photographed my 4 ounce bags of dyed wool locks...the breeds are listed on each bag, 30.00 each, lots of jewel colors! Use them for spinning, felting, rug hooking or??,

It's Sunday and the Wool Shed is open today! Yes it's hot but it is July in Indiana soo let's support a wee farm and think wool! It's good for the environment, self sustainable, natural, feels good, exudes a calming aura, brings tranquility into your environment and sheep, angora goats and angora bunnies are downright huggable!
We have locks, roving, yarns, hooked rugs and kits, rugs woven on my 1820 barn loom.
And the farmeress is having a sale right now...open til 4!
